I hope you are enjoying the STRONG Journey and are being challenged to develop healthy spiritual disciplines.  The goal of this series is that these disciplines will continue long after the series is over.  So, continue in these disciplines to strengthen your faith.

On November 6, we’re going to celebrate with our missionaries.  Many of the missions we support will be represented that day.  Larry Kineman, our missionary in England, will teach that day on STRONG Service.  Don’t miss it!  Be here to support and encourage our missionaries.

We will conclude STRONG on November 13 with a morning of worship and celebration.  If you have been considering baptism, that would be a great day to take the plunge, so come ready to give your life fully to Christ

On November 20, we’re shifting gears.  Christmas decorations are already up in many retail stores.  Snow has already hit the east coast!  The Christmas season is here.  So we’re going to get a jump-start on the season by kicking of our Christmas series called god-send.  We use that term often to refer to a blessing in our life…something unexpected that comes at just the right time.  We’re going to take a look at the various “godsends” that came to the people of Israel…and to us…at just the right time.

We’ll conclude this series on Christmas weekend with 4 services: Christmas Eve @ 3:00, 4:15, and 5:30 OR Christmas Day @ 10:00.  All 4 services will be identical, so choose one.

This year, we’re doing something different.  In order to help us balance out the services and ensure there are plenty of seats for everyone, we’re going to use a ticketing system.  We have a responsibility to honor the fire code for our seating capacity, and providing tickets is the best way to ensure that we are above board.  Tickets are free and will be made available beginning Sunday, November 27.  We are printing 400 per service and they will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.  Once the tickets are gone for a particular service, you will need to choose a different service.

Help us in controlling the Christmas Eve crowd by picking up ONLY the number of tickets you actually need.  And if there’s a particular service that works best for you, I would suggest you pick them up early!

I’m looking forward to a great Christmas season together!

On the Journey,

Shawn
