X-days Wrap Up

X-days Wrap Up...
In short, our first ever Sunday X-day and X-week was a huge success!  I want to thank all of those who participated in making this week an overwhelming success.  Especially the members of our X-focused ministry team who put in countless hours making it all happen.  Here are a few numbers and stories for you all...

542- individuals who participated on Sunday morning July 10th
64- projects we began on Sunday morning the 10th
42- number of work sites on Sunday morning the 10th
30- number of residential home sites we assisted (elderly, foster care, kinship care etc.)
52- projects we COMPLETED on Sunday
9- projects wrapped-up during  X-week
50+- volunteers throughout all of X-week
100- gallons of paint on the walls between Heritage, Woodland, PHWC, Butler Co. and some foster homes
4,356,912- number of emails we sent leading up to and during X-days

I have received notes from dozens of our people who went back to their project or family’s home on their own initiative to wrap up a project...and many who plan to go back regularly as a family, individual or life group to help others monthly or weekly...awesome news.

I have heard from many of our partnerships who are OVERWHELMED with the attitudes and support of our congregation for their ministries.

We have heard multiples stories of teary-eyed men and women at the site of completed projects in their home or ministry center.

We have received multiple calls and emails from other families in need of help in our area...friends or family of those we helped over this month.

I have also seen multiple volunteers fro
