Community Needs List Guidelines

The intent of the CNL is to take the love of Christ into our local community by blessing the struggling and forgotten with labor, volunteers, resources or anything else we can feasibly provide, upon request and as quickly as possible.

Examples of needs we’ve met over the past year…

• Donations for a child from our Summer Lunch Program going to a Christian camp but unable to secure all the necessary items to attend such as toiletries, clothes, a bible, duffle bag, pajamas and more.
• Collections for a foster family opening their home to multiple children needing clothes, toys, beds, strollers, car seats, bedding and more.
• Labor, paint and time to assist an elderly widowed woman whose home is falling apart and in need of serious repair
• Donation of a used washer and dryer to help a single mother trying to rebuild after a divorce.
• Labor to assist a single mother needing to sell her house after divorce that is in need of serious repairs and lawn care.
• Beds and bedding for a family of five whose apartment complex was condemned and furniture discarded.

Please read our emails and texts…help those you can and pray for those you cannot.  Think about your neighbors and resources they may have to give as well.  If you know somebody who would like to sign-up or you see a need, please email communityneeds@centerpointechristian.org.  When in doubt, submit the request story and we’ll do what we can.
