2012 Styled for Giving

Date:  Saturday, March 24th
Time:  10:30 am - 2:00 pm
Location:  CPCC Adult Worship Center

On March 24th, Women’s Ministry will host the 10th annual Styled for Giving Fashion show, luncheon and silent auction to benefit International Needs  Network – Ghana Trokosi Project.

Last year the event was blessed beyond measure as we raised just over $40,000 with the help of a matching gift from a sister church with a passion for these enslaved women.

One hundred percent of the profits from this event will go to IN Network USA, to support their efforts in releasing girls in Ghana from the Trokosi practice of sexual slavery.

For tickets to this event, please contact Missy Helms at 779-9011.  Tickets are going very quickly.  If you are interested in attending, please call as soon as possible.

If you are interested in donating an item for the silent auction contact Ann Durham at 779-2662. Thanks for partnering with us in this important kingdom work!

The History of Styled for Giving

Styled for Giving is an annual event hosted by the women’s ministry at Center Pointe Christian Church. The program includes an elegant luncheon, fashion show and silent auction. This event has become very popular within the CPCC family, but is also becoming a valuable opportunity to reach out to our family, friends and neighbors who may be seeking a church home.

This event was created with a vision to raise money to benefit women’s charities in the local community, thereby demonstrating God’s love to those in need. Since its inception in 2002, the event has raised over $75,000. Past beneficiaries have included The Dove House, Butler County’s only protective shelter for victims of domestic violence and Parkdale Home for Youth, a foster home for teenage girls at risk.

In 2005, Women’s Ministry felt led by God to expand the vision of Styled for Giving to include our sisters in Christ internationally. We became aware of an urgent need in Ghana, Africa and partnered with International Needs Network (IN Network) in their Trokosi project.  Our March 2007 event was blessed beyond measure, as we raised just under $25,000 for this project!
