Plugged in to a Life Group!
What is a Life Group?
A Life Group is a group of 3-12 individuals who meet weekly in homes to commit themselves to live out our mission to “Love God radically, Serve others compassionately, and Lead people to Jesus.” All while relying on the power of the Holy Spirit together.
Why is Center Pointe so committed to Life Groups?
We exist to make disciples. It was a commandment Jesus gave to His disciples in Matthew 28:18-20. Following the example of Jesus and the New Testament church in the book of Acts, we believe discipleship happens best in the context of smaller groups. Life Groups will be the place where we will all challenge one another to love, serve and lead!
Why should I consider joining a Life Group?
God didn’t create us to go through life alone. He created us to live in community with each other. Life Groups will be an environment where people can connect with each other, study scripture, invite their friends and neighbors, and be challenged to grow in Christ in radical ways. It’s the place where our needs are met and where we can meet the needs of others. It’s a place where we can come together to use our spiritual gifts and experience life change. Life Groups are the place where people journey together to BE a disciple of Christ through the reliance on the Holy Spirit.
How do I get connected into a Life Group?
The easiest way you can get connected to a Life Group is by clicking on the "Click here to get Plugged in to a Life Group" link above. You may also find out more about Life Groups and CPCC in general by attending our Starting Pointe class. Our Life Group Ministry Assistant, Kristine Bennett, will then contact you with several groups that fit your needs as well as the appropriate group leaders to notify them that you may be visiting their group. These group leaders will give you a call to introduce themselves and setup a time to get together or a time for you to visit the group. If you have any more questions, please contact the church office and ask for Kristine Bennett or our Life Groups and Outreach Minister Keith Wilson!
